Assimilation Where?

Assimilate is when immigrants or people of a different race. Change the way of acting or adapt to the way of life of other majority people.   

In the play raisin in the sun Beneatha seems to be worried of assimilation since her boyfriend is so rich. She doesn't want to end up being like her spoiled stuck up boyfriend and his family.very odd for a girl to think that way?
     Beneatha had felt that being like her boyfriend and his rich family was a weakness in a way. She had been raised rough and to be tough. she  her own style of life and wouldn't be comfortable with changing it.
 in Ericks UIL he had spoke much of assimilation when he had seen a picture of him self his freshmen year in college  compared to his senior year of college. He had noticed his change of appearance in cloths.
  Not only in the stories is there assimilation. I see Assimilation around me at my school. Majority of my schools students are full blood Mexican but most speak English only since they grew up in America they changed from there own heritage to be able to fit in and make it by in the U.S.
  

Family or Derick?

I Love myself I Love everything about myself my hair my muscular muscles my height I just feel I'm just perfect in the world I'm stingy selfish and don't really care for much other things than myself?.. but I would put my family first before me any day. I may be selfish but I love my family there always here pushing me to do great. even when I want to quit or just sleep they wake me up to either work out or study something or do some type of homework
.
    Even though they don't exactly agree with me being so awesome and amazing at everything I do they still love me and I still love them. I have one older brother and  two younger sisters my brother Darrin is 17 my younger sisters Amaris and Viana are 10 and 2 years old. they're all annoying to me besides Viana shes a cute lovable baby but  even though they're all annoying we have our moments when we love each other enough to where we would jump in front of a bullet for each other.

   I would do anything for my family I rather spend time with my family than go out with some friends and do something with out them. anything my family asks me to do I make sure gets done even if it means I cant do something I want.

    Family is always the top priority my parents taught me that family school sports are the top things to worry about in life. I've been raised to think that way my family is important to me they had huge parts in the type of person I am. Except me being so confident in my self they don't believe I'm amazing but I know I am!
  

   

The American dream is for there to be no such things as a problem in the world with no worry of war no worry of people killing each other in our own country. when the people of America can walk outside to the front in there underwear and know that even though he is in his under wear that he has no worries. when America can be equal in every way with everyone and everyone be happy in this country.

my American dream is me being  in the NFL hall of fame living off the beach's of Miami with no worries what so ever. nothing but great memories and a butt load of money to spend on what ever. I want to keep to my self away from all the annoying people in the U.S and have my very own space ship so i can leave earth when ever i want. So nobody would bother me but would want too know everyone is fine and happy and no wars are going. so that my peace wont be interrupted that's my American Dream..

The recking of D-reck

 Im Derick my favorite sport is Football. I like to eat like a cow my favorite kind of food is chineese. i attend South west high school im 16 years old i've been playing football since i was 4 years old. i hate doing a'lot of Home work.  i wanna go to college station A&M after school.

Im 6foot 1inch tall yet i suck at basketball. My favorite Football team is the Cowboys and my favorite college football team is of course the Texas A&M Aggies. I play tight-End and defensive End in football. i prefer offence between the two im selfish and want the ball all the time. i also do track& field. not very good at it but i do it.
